My name is Nicolas Verdier. I’m French and I’m a third year Multimedia Journalism student at Canterbury Christ Church University.
I came to England in 2007 to learn English after a Sports and Science degree in Toulouse but met a girl, there’s always a girl involved, and ended up staying in the country.
I’m obsessed with rugby and I wish to become a rugby journalist once I graduate. I have worked full time for French rugby newspaper Midi Olympique for 8 months before moving to England and I now work for The Rugby Paper every Saturday reporting mainly on National League 1 and National League 2 South.
Most of my projects are about rugby and this one is no exception. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
